About GNOME Video Arcade

GNOME Video Arcade is a MAME front-end for desktop environments
compliant with the various freedesktop.org specifications.
GNOME Video Arcade recognizes that the frontend is not the point; the
games are. As such, its chief design goal is to help you quickly find
a game to play and then get out of the way. Its purpose is not to help
you manage your ROM collection, nor to provide a confusing graphical
interface for MAME's plethora of configuration options.

Released August 26, 2015
Been awhile! This is just a bug fix release mainly to repair
deterioration caused by backward-incompatible changes in recent
releases of MAME and GTK3.
What's New
----------
* The music feature on the Properties window is gone.
GVA was streaming the music from arcade-history.com, but
the website no longer (openly) serves those music files.
I suppose this was bound to happen but it was neat while
it lasted. (GStreamer is no longer a build requirement.)
* Also removed the empty Gallery tab from the Properties
window. This was a placeholder for a feature that never
happened.
* Dropped support for XMAME. Remember XMAME? Me neither.
