Hi,
Please find my answers below.
1. Internally, we use BaseUser because the User
interface has no setter methods. We need these setter
methods to set different user parameters to create and
update. Please let us know what is your opinion about
the UserManager, User API. What changes do you think
would be useful?
2. As of now, we have not encountered any major issues
with the server. We have tested it using different FTP
clients without any problem.
3. If I understand your requirement correctly, it is
that you want to add your Command without changing the
RequestHandler class. That we can easily do by
separating the RequestHandler and CommandFactory. The
CommandFactory will be customizable to add your own
command. If my understanding is not correct, please
let us know why do you need to customize
RequestHandler?
4. It is very difficult to specify configuration DTD
or XSD. The server consists of several components
(like UserManager, IPRestrictor, SocketFactory etc).
You can use your own component with your own
configuration. We have not specify any DTD or XSD to
make it as flexible as possible. If you have any
suggestion or pointer, please let us know.
Thanks,
