I know that the Apache FTP server handles FTP over SSL, but is there any though on having it support SFTP (FTP over SSH)? We need a solution for both so I was wondering if anyone's used this design to also implement the slightly different interactive FTP protocol used for SFTP.
Also - when we specify that client certificates are needed, is there a way to get the details of the certificate to ensure that the authenticated user matches the certificate that is presented?
