Apologies if the mailing list is the wrong forum for this issue. Nick Vujasin has been having a very hard time with the mailing list, evidenced by his submitting the same question 4x somewhat unintentionally. From the conversation below, it seems the mailing list is generating "Error!" replies whenever he writes and he seems not to be getting messages sent out, e.g. Niklas' response to his inquiry.
I wasn't sure how to help him, hence emailing the list! Hopefully someone can offer some insight, advice. If you wish to chat with Nick directly, his address is below. Dear Nabble user: Your recent message "Versions of ftp server and Ftplet error callback method" has not yet been accepted by the mailing list and is still in the pending status. To check the current status of your message, please follow the link below: http://www.nabble.com/forum/ViewPost.jtp?post=18176471&action=pending When a user posts a message, it takes some time to get through the list. Some reasons behind pending messages are: (1) you are not a subscriber of the mailing list; (2) the mailing list server was down when you first tried to send the message (in this case you should try to resend it); (3) your post is still waiting for moderation. You can find more information about pending posts in the link below: http://www.nabble.com/help/Answer.jtp?id=15 Regards, Nabble Support To stop receiving this alert, delete your message: http://www.nabble.com/forum/ViewPost.jtp?post=18176471&action=delete If you have any trouble stopping this alert or any questions, please contact Nabble Support at [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ---- From: "Prestel, John D." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Nick Vujasin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, July 2, 2008 9:50:37 PM Subject: RE: Post to mailing list still pending What about emailing the list? That's it. Auto generated email I get....and reply to.... Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list. I'm working for my owner, who can be reached at [EMAIL PROTECTED] To confirm that you would like [EMAIL PROTECTED] added to the ftpserver-users-allow mailing list, please send a short reply to this address: ftpserver-users-allow-sc.1214848611.kkacfjabclbipeglgigj-nick_vujasin=ya [EMAIL PROTECTED] Usually, this happens when you just hit the "reply" button. If this does not work, simply copy the address and paste it into the "To:" field of a new message. or click here: mailto:ftpserver-users-allow-sc.1214848611.kkacfjabclbipeglgigj-nick_vuj [EMAIL PROTECTED] This confirmation serves two purposes. First, it verifies that I am able to get mail through to you. Second, it protects you in case someone forges a subscription request in your name. Some mail programs are broken and cannot handle long addresses. If you cannot reply to this request, instead send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and put the entire address listed above into the "Subject:" line. --- Administrative commands for the ftpserver-users-allow list --- I can handle administrative requests automatically. Please do not send them to the list address! Instead, send your message to the correct command address: To subscribe to the list, send a message to: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To remove your address from the list, send a message to: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Send mail to the following for info and FAQ for this list: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Similar addresses exist for the digest list: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To get messages 123 through 145 (a maximum of 100 per request), mail: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To get an index with subject and author for messages 123-456 , mail: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> They are always returned as sets of 100, max 2000 per request, so you'll actually get 100-499. To receive all messages with the same subject as message 12345, send a short message to: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> The messages should contain one line or word of text to avoid being treated as [EMAIL PROTECTED], but I will ignore their content. Only the ADDRESS you send to is important. You can start a subscription for an alternate address, for example "[EMAIL PROTECTED]", just add a hyphen and your address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To stop subscription for this address, mail: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> In both cases, I'll send a confirmation message to that address. When you receive it, simply reply to it to complete your subscription. If despite following these instructions, you do not get the desired results, please contact my owner at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please be patient, my owner is a lot slower than I am ;-) --- Enclosed is a copy of the request I received.
