Just to make things clear, it is not GPL, it is licensed under Apache
License 2.0:

Are you running one of our releases or did you build from SVN? If the
latter, did you do an svn up before troubles began?

Also, could you please provide the code for how your embedding
FtpServer? Can you also provide FtpServer logs (at debug level) for a
connection attempt.

All free or non-free FTP clients should work with FtpServer, if not
please open a bug report.
