One prob I've noticed with the documentation issue is that FTPServer advertises
to be deployable either in Spring, or embedded in existing code standalone app,
which gets constructed and started from a main() method.
With regard to configuring FTPServer:
On all of the websites and all of the bundled documentation, there appears to
be no documentation covering how to configure FTPServer when it is run as a
Java app from a main(). The only existing config documentation is about
configuring it within Spring, using XML files.
When run embedded, as a conventional application, from a Main class, you don't
configure the server using XML. There would be insead a .properties file, or a
series of method calls your code makes (like .setters()) to set the proper
configuration values.
I have found no where on the 3 websites, and no where in the bundled docs, the
name and location of this .properties file--or failing that, the setXXX()
method calls you manually call to set all of the same config values.
Am I wrong? Can anyone name these?
