It is also the date of GNOME.Asia 2014, which has been decided to be held in Beijing. [1] Actually we are considering to have co-located events as an option. That is, we might share partially the venue and talk program. I think co-location can share resources, and make it easier to let both events happen, although it might add coordination cost. We have FUDCon organizers who are in both local communities. According to the message I got from GNOME side, they are OK with the co-location idea. I want to hear the thoughts of Fedora people. https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-asia-list/2013-December/msg00000.html > If you're ready, can we hold a special APAC meeting this Saturday > so that regional ambassadors can review the bid and provide you > any feedback they think of? (So this week will be really busy for me.) I will ask other organizers to attend the meeting. I will find time to file a ticket with FAmSCo. How should I get in touch with Robyn? I think summer vacation (July or August) is OK, but it might conflict with Flock, which date has not been decided though. October is also OK (and the best season of Beijing). But no later to avoid conflict with FUDCon LATAM. -- Alick Fedora release 20 (Heisenbug) user https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Alick _______________________________________________ fudcon-planning mailing list [email protected] https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/fudcon-planning
