Another thing that you could do is to build a movie clip equal to the contents of one row. It would contain the text fields that you need to populate in the appropriate positions.
You then loop over your data and push that movieclip by doing an attachMovie, positioning it by setting the _y and populating the values in the textfields.
Big of mucking about but it does a nice job.

One suggestion was to use tabs and another was to use a datagrid component, both of which I need to research. Does anybody have any alternatives?
