Hey Scott, fixed the problem by importing the quicktime file with out any compression on the audio. It seemed to be the compression being used on the audio which can cause problems with flash.

By rights it should import seamlessly? I take it your using Flash MX 6? If so try downloading the latest Flash MX 2004 IDE (they can co-exist on the same machine), as it has greatly improved on the video import procedure.
