Adblock extension for firefox with a filter for "*domain*" for whatever domains you choose, can stop a lot of such things.

I've had a few like this - they "pop up" when you navigate away from the tab.
And signing up with Bugzilla looks like a lot of work and I'm sure I can't be the first person to have found this.
