This cuts both ways - if you have a large infrastructure, you don't use a web based GUI either, because visiting 1,000+ pages to reconfigure 1,000+ switches really sucks. At that point, you want a scriptable CLI so you can do something like
Amen! .. as someone that's had to administer Checkpoint before, there's nothing worse that something you can't fix via a CLI.
