I find it interesting that your subject is "Debian", and you're asking
about the Ubuntu fork. We should clearly address this supporting
Debian, because that way we are not locked into anything specific to
Ubuntu and can reach more users. Anyway, WRT Debian, several people
have gotten this working, and some have packaged it.
Long term, we'd really like to see someone interested in packaging it
properly, so that it's apt-gettable by everyone.
