I've been scheming about different transports mechanism for Func (ActiveMQ,
Pyro, etc...). I don't think Func is going to scale until the transport
system is updated to something more robust than xmlrpc (and QMF looks like a
good option).

I would be willing to spend significant development time on something like
this.
