I have another question on the subject. We do a lot of videos of infections, and it's a real pain to "smudge" out sensitive stuff (porn, URLs, etc.). By the time we get through with the file, it's bloated and lower quality.
If you would like, you can send the raw file to me and I would be more than happy to encode it for you so you can distribute it. That is a strength of mine. I am relatively good at making smaller/high quality files. But I do my work with Mpeg4...
Anyone have any magic to share here? All we need to do is capture the video in Windows Media and smudge out sensitive parts. MPlayer seems to be most viable which I already have. I was hoping someone might offer up something that I had not yet become aware of. Video/multimedia have been outside my focus for the last serveral years, so I am way out of date when it comes to getting the most out of the stuff. -- Ken Dyke, 406.581.0495 Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preservered body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, and loudly proclaiming...
