I suspect that it would be extremely difficult to design a statistically valid
study on
this matter. The first difficulty would be in finding a solid and
representative
sample to perform the study on. The second, and probably more serious problem,
would come in ensuring that the experimenters refrained from performing
violence on the "control" group ...
