Bruce Schneier has correctly pointed out that although *awareness* of
the issue may go up, nothing will actually *happen* until the cost of
not happening becomes a non-externality in the economic sense (i.e.
until they themselves get defaced and incur a PR/whatever cost, or something
else happens to cause an actual pushback cost higher than the cost of
actually fixing the problem).
