never the less, a large qubit adiabatic machine is universal for qc
and applicable to pubkey cracking. [breaking large key symmetric
ciphers is much more difficult. if anyone knows of comparisons for
this type of qc computation i'd love to know about it]

i agree that other more practical uses for optimization and search
will be very significant.  assuming dwave can scale their design as
expected we've got some interesting times ahead...
