In the interests of using information from a source more objective than a
gamer site, see:

ootings-led-to-clements-students-punishment

Your attention is invited to the following sentence:
"The boy, whose name was released in the police report, has not been
identified on FortBendNow because he has not been charged with any crime."

"Alternative Education Center" beats the crap out of being expelled a few
days before graduation.

They had a complaint from another parent. They couldn't ignore it.
Whether they overacted or not is subjective. It seems the process of
working through the school board and, if necessary, the courts is working,
albeit slowly and with some foot-dragging. No bureaucrat wants to be
publicly, let alone high-profile, found to have made a mistake. "Take it
like a man and admit your stupidity" is an option, but a difficult one for
some.

"Stupidity cannot be cured with money or through
education or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin,
the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity
is the only universal capital crime; the sentence
is death there is no appeal and execution is
carried out automatically and without pity."
