It's a fun show and especially the biometrics episode where they were able to open an "unbreakable" fingerprint lock with a simple photocopy of a thumb print :-)
The guys are the same... They all live in California (at least most of them... check out their MySpace pages for details) and shoot there (at least most of the time). It seems to be a common practice for the Discovery Channel to change the voice over based on the region. It's not only Mythbusters...
