Absolutely! Note that the slaves were the only Americans that were debarred the use of arms post revolution. Also, the only Supreme Court decision the anti-gun crowd can point to as supporting their viewpoint, Cruikshank, is a support of a Jim Crow law by a racist court.

The purpose of the lawsuits against the non-federal entities is to require that the Supreme Court "incorporate" Heller into the states.
