It's nice to know that people realize small devices can get malware, too, and

people are concerned.

The "year of mobile malware" will come when some (one) mobile OS platform 
dominates the market.  At the moment there does not seem to be any reason that 
this might happen any time soon.  (A "killer app" for small devices would 
change 
that, of course ...)

(No, the iPhone does not qualify.  It has to be not just "cool," but affordable 
[in 
both purchase and use], and utilitarian enough that people will dump existing 
devices to get one.  In very large numbers.)
