Cialdini and associates have a new book "Yes!: 50 Scientifically Proven
Ways to Be Persuasive" that I have found to be a great read. It is 50
chapters, 2 to 4 pages each in length, that examine various aspects of
persuasion and why they work. The book is physically small, about the
size of a paperback novel, so it is a quick read and idea for reading
during a commute.

If you liked "Influence", I think you will really like this one too.
It's a lot more concise.
