Actually Twitter is Old News now; all the Cool Kids have moved to Plurk,
which the curmudgeons are likely to hate even more, because (a) it has an
even sillier name and (flash-based!) site design, and (b) every single
140-character posting becomes the root of a linear thread of 140-character
responses. Endless chatter that will drive you mad with rage! :)
I am "DaleInnis" on both Twitter (which I hardly use anymore) and Plurk.
That's my Second Life avatar name (speaking of things to annoy
curmudgeons!), and I use both of them mostly to keep up socially with
Second Life friends, not for anything in my professional field (not alot
of supercomputer systems software discussion there, or anywhere else
public, that I've noticed).
