Here's a hearty second on This American Life. And if you listen to the podcast, throw 'em a few bucks, will you? Their annual b/w costs are in excess of $100k. Speaking of money, if you are trying to make sense of the current financial crisis in the US, try the Planet Money show on NPR http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/ It tried to break things down simple enough that you don't need an economics degree to figure out what's happening.
