I've been Norton Free for quite a while, Alex's Vipre has been serving well for
some time now (and AVG before...).
Norton has always been the perfect example of the worst of security, imo.
Lumpy, intrusive, impossible to uninstall... If in fact it is the best thing
since sliced bread it looses more points than it gains in my eyes for being too
much trouble to tolerate - leading to asnine articles like the one that started
this thread and therefore a net loss in security across the board.
