Ahem. A goodly proportion of "American" sci-fi is shot in Canada. (Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Smallville...) The stuff which is *labelled* Canadian is the stuff where the financing is Canadian, which means that the special effects budget is about $49.95 per episode, so we get blamed for travesties like Starlost. It's not that we lack talent, just capital. On the other hand, sometimes ingenuity can prevail over the budget. I think Commander's Log is a hoot. Or, in film, my current favourite tool for messing with people's heads is Phil the Alien. It's thoroughly bent. -- Greg Slade There are 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
