It's certainly nothing new, but it's the first time that a global player 
stepped up the plate and admitted their were a victim. That's why it suddenly 
is big news. That, and that a number of big companies were hit by the same 
attack.

Usually it's only the security vendors and federal organisations that are 
warning that such attacks are going on
