Exactly.  Social networking sites are in the privacy invasion business.
Their "users" and their data are merely the product to be acquired,
accumulated, processed, packaged and sold to anyone with cash-in-hand.
And quite a few of them are spammers, including facebook, linkedin,
ning, plaxo, friendster, grouply, fanbox, myspace, scour, etc.
