Qwiki is a new system (still under alpha, in fact) extending the Wikipedia idea by using sources available on the Internet and Web to create short multimedia presentations on topics.
As such, I expect it will rapidly become as much of a "go to" place for a quick start to topics as is wikipedia. This, of course, can be both a good thing or a bad thing, depending upon the quality of information available. I suggest that those interested in security awareness training have a look at what they carry in terms of security materials. (Not much, at the moment. They do not have "computer security," for example. They do have:) http://www.qwiki.com/q/#Information_security If you join the system you can provide feedback on the topics. And hopefully improve them. ====================== (quote inserted randomly by Pegasus Mailer) [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] They know enough who know how to learn. - Henry Adams victoria.tc.ca/techrev/rms.htm blog.isc2.org/isc2_blog/slade/index.html http://blogs.securiteam.com/index.php/archives/author/p1/ http://www.infosecbc.org/links http://twitter.com/rslade _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
