Firefox has been getting slower for a long time. You haven't noticed till
now because, like the frog boiling in slowly-heated water, you've been
putting up with it.

Chrome is the only way to go.

Fully updated FF v 3.6.13.

Actually, it's weird.  On faster machine, viewing just about nothing but
Twitter (new interface) it's bogged.  On 7 year old machine (MS updated
yesterday) viewing Twitter (old interface) it seems to be doing OK ...
