I found this somewhat interesting. Surely Google has made PAC contributions, and is helping the US government with data gathering and mining. Usually, that gets the company in question a pass (confer: US Telecomns and Spying, http://www.eff.org/issues/nsa-spying; US Financial Industry, economic terrorism, and no criminal investigations).
