Besides all the other excellent advise (I've thought on the topic as well
and came to the same conclusions), you should look at Howie Hamlins CF based
authenticator. It uses CF to route a person through web based security.
Using it along with the other stuff can allow you to limit access to non-CF
stuff like pictures and other media.
