I'd like to see the ppt, please. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Having never written an ecommerce application, my perspective is somewhat
unique from most web devs. I've done a large financial transaction site and
a massive content manager app. I'm going to check out the coffee valley
examples, since they have a Fusebox and a non-FB example. BTW - where can I
get my hands on the original CF versions of these apps?

Nat,
I have a Fusebox presentation in PowerPoint that you're welcome to
cannibalize if it will help. What I do, if possible, is take a very small
application (e.g. a shopping cart) and define what fuseactions it will
respond to -- stuff like "addItemToCart", "removeItemFromCart",
"displayCart" -- and then split the group into smaller groups.
Once you've given them an overview of how Fusebox works, get them writing
code for the individual fuses. That's what I've found to help people the
most and remove the element of "I understand what you're saying, but I have
no idea how to implement it."

I'm giving a presentation titled "An Introduction to Fusebox" at the San
Diego CFUG on Tuesday. I've culled a few ppts from various places, but had a
few question for those of you who have done CFUG (or other) presentations on
Fusebox.

Can I talk about application.cfm without having to explain it? (I'm
brand-new to this CFUG (1 meeting so far), so I have little idea what the
level of CF and Fusebox knowledge is of the group.)
I know I'm just going to have to wing it, seeing what people "get" and
adjusting my speed and level of detail accordingly.
If any experienced Fuseboxers are in the area (don't think any of you are
from SD, but maybe LA?) and want to tag team this with me, give me a holler.
I was asked to do this on short notice (last week), so I'm piecing stuff
together now.
