You could make the form call itself, include the act_ file if
IsDefined('attributes.submit_button'), then use an error returned by the
act_ file to decide whether to CFLOCATION to the next step, or just display
the form again, with the error.
CFPARAM all the form fields at the start, then set the values of the form
fields to #attributes.field_name#
