which war did "we" lose? The only one that I can think of that has any
relevance to anything is the American War of Independence and that was a
long time ago!
Oh, and we are good at cooperating this side of the Atlantic Ocean - the
fact you call it a pond just shows how the US perspective is warped ;) -
because we invented the language "English".
