Not really a question, more a "does anyone else do this, and is there any
reason why i shouldn't".

There's a feature in formURL2 attributes that will create
attributes.fuseaction if it finds a form field called fuseaction_foo.x

This is to let us use images as submit buttons.

It occured to me today that it also enables one form to have many submit
buttons with different fuseactions by naming the buttons accordingly,
without having to do tests to see what button was pressed.
eg:
<INPUT TYPE="Submit" NAME="fuseaction_composer.x" VALUE="Select a composer">
<INPUT TYPE="Submit" NAME="fuseaction_publisher.x" VALUE="Choose a
publisher">
etc

I've used it today and its dead handy.

The question is, is this going to break on some browsers/platforms, or is
'.' in a form field universally valid?

And is this a good idea that everyone knows about already cos its so
obvious?

Cheers
Bert

PS just a general thank-you to this list and fusebox in general - if i
hadn't found my first site would be a complete mess, and still not live.
BTW, if anyone wants to rent a holiday home then just go to www.holi..., on
second thoughts, mail me off list - its quite young, and i don't want to
send out a general 'hack-me' invitation
;)
