I'll toss in 4 cents here..
1. I'm totally guilty of "documenting after coding".
2. I wouldn't expect any automated app to analyze code and produce useful
documentation that would show the thought processess, the business logic,
the overall "idea" behind the whole thing.
3. Fusedoc works great as both a prior-to-coding, and
cover-yer-behind-after-the-fact documentation system; I'm not knocking other
systems, its just that I've latched onto this Fusedoc thing and am runnin'
with it.
4. I have a saying, it oughtta be on bumper stickers and coffee cups. "You
can't fight policy with technology". If developers don't document their work
(policy: document your code), no app (technology: bail me out!) is gonna do
the job. I also have another saying, "Gun Registration = Gun Confiscation",
but that's another bumper sticker...
