Basic fact, you can't shrink screenshots without garbling the contents.
Since most screen content of value (small text) already consists of
single-pixel items, there just ain't nothing left to shrink without an ugly
interpolation occuring.
The best thing to do is to use Photoshop to knock out unnecessary portions
of your screenshot and get the overall dimensions of the file down. Usually
there are horizontal or vertical areas of screen image that aren't needed.
