You need Acrobat 4.0. The old viewer does not have the forms extension in it. The
server is configured for this mime type. It sends you a file to download as index.fdf.
Acrobat sees
this file and says hey I am the application for that (Ver 4.0). It spawns acrobat
reader, acrobat 4.0 opens the FDF file that was built from a coldfusion query, and
then populates the
form specified in the FDF with the data in the variable=value pairs found in the fdf
back in the browser window that originally spawned the fdf. It works everywhere I go
while
testing it. . . ? Once again <cf_MaybeIAmStupid> ;-)
