The MSXML DOM (http://msdn.microsoft.com/xml/default.asp or something) seems
to be the XML COM object of choice (for Windows obviously) at the moment.

However, haven't delved into Java and XML (there seems to be a bigger
following for it).

I have used MSXML in production and it works very well. If you want some
code to play with, then give me a shout (if lots of you start hassling me,
then I'll put some test code on a website, but bear in mind you need the
MSXML DOM object for it to work).
