I use a RFA on my site to track which menu to send the user back to once
they are done doing something else on the Web site. So initially the RFA is
set to the menu name and then I just append the value to each URL
(RFA=employee) as the person tracks around the site. At each section of the
site I have a link back the specified menu
(index.cfm?fuseaction=#Attributes.RFA#).

It's a very simple use of the RFA concept...Hal and Steve have some
amazingly brilliant uses for RFA's which I haven't tried yet. I can show
more of how I use RFA
off list if you'd like.

Being fairly new to ColdFusion and the fusebox method I have some =
questions regarding the use of RFAs. I understand that their primary =
purpose is to remove as much "knowledge of the existence of other fuses" =
from the individual fuse. =20

This is great, however I still don't fully understand how the use of =
RFAs can be used to return the user to the same place after they have =
been directed to do some other function (e.g. user needs to login before =
completing order form). Won't the call to index.cfm reset the RFA to =
some other value for the login fuseaction?

Also, is there a way to return them to the same place with all the data =
they entered to the point of redirection intact (e.g. user has partially =
filled out an order form and was redirected to login before completion =
of form)? =20

Thanks for the all the help offered to a greenhorn!!!
