I prefer to use CFMEncrypt at :
http://www.rixsoft.com/ColdFusion/CFX/CFMEncrypt/
it allows you to encrypt AND decrypt files. v.handy indeed. I am not sure
if it can traverse DIR's but with a few tweaks I am sure you can get it to!!
