I've just been receiving them over the last day or so. I'm pretty sure that
I didn't, unbeknownst to myself, subscribe again (number 1) or change my
filter (number 2). I wouldn't rule the third possibility out quite so
quickly...

There are 3 reasons for double posts.
1. Your subscribed under 2 different addresses. This can be checked in the
mail headers by seeing who the post is being sent to.
2. Your filter is copying the message to some place twice (this actually
does happen).
3. The list is sputtering and sending out duplicates.
As most people have not seen this problem in the last few weeks, option 3
looks like its out. I'd look at option 1 if I were you. Its actually a lot
more common than you think.
