Macromedia would say UltraDev is an IDE but from a Fusebox perspective not
really. The best features for me as a cf developer:
Excellent WYSWIG editor
Great way to write CF stored procedure code
There is a plug in for Dreamweaver (I assume also UltraDev) that give it
Cold Fusion Tags. At www.marcomedia.com however judging from the reviews
it's not worth the download. I haven't had a good look at it yet. Would be
hard pressed to beat cf studio anyway.

Hi Malcom,
First of all, thanks heaps for the great reply. I am going to re-read a few
more times when I get a chance this weekend (crazy day).
I can't post to the list from the machine I am on right now, only read.
But I am wonderng if you could post up the answer to something for me
whenever you get a chance.
When I tried UD out, it was a real pain to author CF outside of the UD
framework. It was really kludgy to even put any handwritten CF code in.
Was that because I am missing something?
Is UD more of an IDE or more of a static page authoring package with query
support?
Many thanks again,
John
