Thanks, Russ!
We are still working through the AOL issues. In the meantime we are adding
more content that the AOL users won't be able to use. ;-)

Subject: RE: Problem with SSL?
We have a huge B2B site on SSL which has been around for about 4 years now
and we have had problems with AOL forever. I doubt that the issue lies with
IIS because our site is clustered on 4 Sun Solaris servers running NS
Enterprise server. One of the problems we have found is that AOL will not
allow some of our Java code to the client. This has been our biggest battle
since primarily the site was written using client side applets. We have
been converting alot of the site to servlets but we are still running into
client authorization problems with AOL users.
We have had to supply fenced internet access to our customers who use AOL
just so they can use our site.
We have never been able to figure out the definitive issue.
This doesn't really help to solve your issue, just wanted you to know you
were not alone!!

Subject: RE: Problem with SSL?
I am currently having problems with AOL users accessing the secure areas of
a Web site I built. I've been doing some testing and found out it appears to
be a configuration issue on our NT4/IIS Web server which is set up with SSL
at 128-bit encryption. I set up an AOL account and used it to browse to my
Web server and received the "Page cannot be displayed" message. But then I
went to a banking site that is using the same type of security and was able
to view those pages.
Our network administrator is looking into this as we speak. So if I get
anymore info I'll pass it on.

Has anyone had problems with CF going to SSL pages through AOL? A consultant
at a client said that he understood this to happen a fair amount of time.
I'm looking for data points on this issue.
Many thanks,
Hal
