... Get VB, you can write screensavers very easily
in VB with a multitude of graphical effects..

A screensaver is nothing more than a .exe renamed
to .scr (okay thats not totally true) but it holds true
for the most part.. Shouldnt be that hard to do ive
written a few DX screensavers in VB before using
some simple DX hooks in the the DX 7 API nothing
complex just like a spinning cube that was textured
to some images... Interesting enough, There are even
several tutorials/code samples on how to do
screensavers in VB, a little websearching should
help you... if you have access to VB...

To the group,

I just got hit with this, I have a potential client that wants images put
into a screen saver

where can I find the hooks into the windows api for java/C++ to use the
98/2000 screensaver and

who has done this before that would be willing to offer some guidance?

Thanks,

Richard
