Birgit,

I have written a simple custom tag that parses through a
file looking for the fuseactions. E-Mail me off list if you would
like a copy of it.

Subject: dynamic list of fuseactions from index.cfm

Hi all,

I am using fusebox for a help application in which every fuseaction
dsiplayes a certian chapter of the help docu. I know that this is not the
best way to do it, but for practising I am using it a bit. Sooner
or later I have to change to a database.

But for now I would love to make a dynamic table of contents by
looking through the index.cfm, grab some fuseactions and make the
achors. With each fuseaction goes a #request.title# which I would
like to use as the anchor label. Anybody tried that before?

It seems for me the parsing is kind a tricky, as I haven' done that
much with it.

Any ideas? I know about REgular Expressions, but I really have
trouble to get the thinking right...would I need to build a
customtag which get called as long as I am between the cfswitch
tags, or should I just loop through, How would I know where to
start the cycle again. My head spins.

You read from this question that I am a newbie, but I came already
a long way...;-)) And you all have been a great help, with your
questions and answers

Best regards,
Birgit Pauli-Haack
