Scott, Go check out this custom tag called CFX_GetUserGroups. It allows you to specify an NT username, and the system goes out and returns the Local and Global groups that the user belongs to. This developer has also created a tag that allows you to check the user's permissions on a specific file or folder. I am also working on an application similiar to your's, and found these tags most useful. Here is the link to the site: http://www.intrafoundation.com/intranethostingtoolkit.html Hope this helps, Jeff Stone [EMAIL PROTECTED] <--------------------------------> Is there some custom tag or some part of advanced security that will simply return the groups a user is associated with?
