Why not try using WDDX?  Just off the top of my head (not ever working with
the COM implementation of WDDX) I would use the COM part to convert the
recordset into JavaScript, then use the CFWDDX to convert from JavaScript to
a CF query.

Probably easier said than done, but it's a thought anyway!!
