At CFUN2K Shlomey made a compelling case for integrating flash... and he made it sound
as simple as your suggestion.
I've been working on a FUSElike solution for my Vignette Storyserver implementation,
and one of the things we are talking about is using flash for some of the visual
components, not for animation, as much as control of the presentation space.
